Broadbill Custom Lures is a division of "Fred Bailey Engineering Ltd", which has been established since 1969, operating out of their own buildings in Penrose, Auckland; New Zealand's premier industrial center.

Fred with his vast gamefishing experience (World Record Holder 1975) designs the lures utilizing his engineering skills and extensive fishing history of over forty years.

Fred is an IGFA Approved Certified Captain, and owns the 50 foot Gamefishing Launch M.V. Broadbill, which is registered in Auckland. Broadbill is a British registered ship and holds an Admiralty Warrant, affiliated to the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.
